The Best Drum Solo Ever (Maybe)

I've seen a lot of good drummers.  I've seen drum solos by jazz geniuses and rock legends, and they all blew me away.  So, with so many amazing drum solos out there, how can one really stand out?

Like this:

The Newsboys have been doing amazing drum solos since I was in middle school - sometimes with two drummers playing perfectly synchronized drum solos at the same time.  I saw them do that at a concert in Paris, TX, a long time ago, but I never got to see the rotating drum riser for myself.  (If you search YouTube you'll find many more videos of their impressive drumming.)

Of course, the best drum solo is probably Led Zeppelin's 'Moby Dick' from the live album The Song Remains the Same, but this one's pretty good, too.

I have always enjoyed seeing the Newsboys play live. They definitely do the best drum solos.

I also enjoy seeing Eric Singer play and thought you might enjoy this clip of him playing a solo with his sticks on fire.--Scott Shiffer

That's pretty amazing. I'll overlook the fact he drummed with KISS since he with Cooper in that one.

I know how much you dislike KISS, he may be the best thing that ever happened to them. Also, he played with Queen recently.
